Nanook

This is a maquette of a yettie species for a freinds new game, they are called the Nanook. I wanted to learn about how to make fur on sculptures, so i tested out a couple ides, I made each piece of hard indivigualy and then put it on his body. On his back I wanted to try and make it look like matted fur from getting wet from snow.

Red Hood in the Wood

This is the first wood block print I have ever done, It was a lot of fun and I want to keep playing with the process, I am a bit off on the registering but I think it looks good.

The Phantom Tollbooth

A new cover for the old classic The Phantom Tollbooth, I loved this book because I inherited my father's love of puns. If you haven't read the book I suggest you do, to the left is the watch dog Tock. Tock is half dog half alarm clock, I chose to make his whole side the clock and the minuet hand his actual paw, so if you wanted to know the time he would point to the correct minuet. so he is a watch dog and a pointer. Haha told you I like puns.

This is a sculpture for a race in a friend game, They are called the Nanook. I am trying to learn how to do hair better so I took on this project, trying out three types of hair, making every piece of hair then putting it on one piece at a time.

Santa'fe

Finished piece for the previous sketch, The character is Grim, he goes around and plays anything he can get his hands on. This time he got a table, Santa'fe is the name of the restraint he is in. Its a concept piece for a story that a friend started up and the rest of us just kinda took off with.

Mortgage Commentary

Piece done in Adobe Illustrator, it was a commentary on the nations mortgage problems. It is such a problem to buy or sell property in the States now, just thought this was fitting.

An Adobe Illustrator piece of an old 30's star Danny Kaye. You have to love the movies this guy did and if you haven't seen one, you need to because you wont forget him.

Colored sketch

A old sketch I found and decided to play with in Painter X, this piece was mostly experimental but I think it came out alright for what it was.

The Crew.

Started drawing some friends as pirates, some one suggested I finish them and make thing into an actual pirate crew. Might end up making a short comic about it. We'll see.

Horse Power

Illustration done for old muscle cars, the pun of horse power. that and one of the coolest cars ever! the old Mustang. still need to fix up some things about it though.

Force Fit

Force fitting two creatures together, this one is a mixture of a brown recluse spider and a komodo dragon. I don't even want to see what would happen from a bite of theirs.

I was asked to draw a character really quick, and this is what I came up with one of the first things that I did in Painter X. a weird scoller version of puss'n'boots.

Rowans Father

This was a piece I did for a friend, this one of her character's father. From the back story his is one bad ass old dude, he comes from a world that is hard to live in where you attacked almost every day. So if he made it to this age he has to be pretty kick ass!
